Here is a cropped detail of an artwork that will be exhibited in Brunswick later this month. The exhibition titled The Darkness Within is curated by Joe Blanck and will feature a range of artists in this pop up space. I wanted to create an ambiguous character that is part menace and part fragility, playing on the archetype of the big bad wolf from nursery rhymes. Special thanks to the talented Tim Coghill for lending his scruffy looks to creating this character. Come to the exhibition to see the full image!
Update 18/05/2013: Sold the artwork!
Photo shoot with model Rhiannon on one of the most gorgeous properties and a featuring a beautiful horse named Johnny. Special thanks to Sarah Trickey for keeping Johnny a cooperative model. I wanted to create a real high end style to this shoot with lush lighting and a sense of grand space. The styling was spot on with wonderfully structured outfits with rich textures.

On locations photographing the behind the scenes with Bob Evans (lead singer of Jebediah) for the filming of his new music video, “Go”. In good humour, Bob plays a very dorky verision of himself trying to impress a girl, while a cameo appearance from Tim Rogers (lead singer of You am I) appears and basically upstages him. The scenes were all done in retro glory, including a TV Week magazine featuring Mr T. The video was co-ordinated and shot by award winning company “Oh Yeah Wow”. The cast and crew was fantastic and we all got sufficiently sunburnt on the day.
You can see way more photos from me on the Oh Yeah Wow Facebook Album.
Check out the hilarious finished video clip…
So I finally got around to setting up a Facebook photography page for those who want to follow my work and get in contact with me. You can find me here…
This was a very last minute shoot with model Andrea Leigh. I asked Andrea what she had in mind for this shoot and she simply replied, “Something crazy”. She is off to Milan now with her new modelling agency. I trust they saw some of that fire that she showed in this shoot.
